Cougar at Joliet

Was checking out NMRA / NMCA action pics yesterday from Route 66 in Joliet, IL, and saw a white Cougar in the Modular Muscle class. Anyone on here? http://www.nmradigital.com/wp-conten...7/DSC_7697.jpg

Found his name

Checked his car # on the bracket, R. Pingol, looks like he lost in the 3rd round.

After the third qualifier, I broke a half shaft.
That was the easiest sucker to change.
35 mins. ground to ground.
Note, don't install a spool and drive to the beach, casino, bar, movies, grocery store, love shack, golf course,
union meeting, etc...... About 1000 miles, what should I have expected.
Lucky I brought a half shaft.
Seeing 1mtncat break two H/S's at Budds Creek added those parts to the must bring list.
Also must being the 15/16" and 13/16" wrenches.

It ws hot as hell all weekend.

Vic, was that you with the white (Per Engines) mustang.
Never saw anybody lift the hood or touch the car.
Hope that was a good sign.
But I was in my Mountaineer with the A/C on whenever not racing or going to the crapper.
Did you guys have the ghetto A/C for your trailer or was it the next pit spot?

Thanks Ron.
I wasn't the only one.

95 Bad Bird.
Its a mini spool, Auburn makes it.
Its not a install and go item.
Some grinding is necessary to make the "circ clips?" fit.
If you want more info on the fittment send a PM.
I have to call the shop that did the gears.

They didn't just set up the diff., they screwed up and installed tham in the car.
But they gave me a large break on the labor.
What I'm saying is, I'll find out where to grind.

Well the per Mustang, it's light Grey, is my crew chief Tony in our other friends car, I was in the '67 Mustang on the otherside of the red trailer, we also had the red '99 anny Mustang and the silver Cobra on the otherwise of the ghetto rigged trailer with AC. BTW it does work fairly well.

And yea, that fox runs without an issue every time. Normally runs 9.70's but cage is expired, slowed it down to run 10.teens

Oh and the SC in EFI is tony he posts here and SCCOA under SCme94

I don't run the clips as is(I run a Mustang diff currently).
So, I don't think I will have to grind anything.
Unless there is something else I don't know about.
