Wow, what a mess!

Least you're getting it done! Where in Maine are you gonna race it? Or are you going to a track over in NH?

I own a place in Springfield up above Bangor (you know - the middle of nowhere); my family is all from Sumner.

Oh you mean like this:

What makes you think your car is 92 Thunderbird Sport?..

It appears to be a 93 Thunderbird LX w/ 5.0 V8..

It has or had the 93-96 6 gauge Cluster..
1991-1996 Thunderbird or Cougar 6 Gauge Cluster.jpg
Notice the orientation of the Volts and Fuel gauge..

Your Thunderbird also has the Windshield Washer Fluid Reservoir next to the Radiator up front..Exclusive to a 93-97 Thunderbird/Cougar..

Not all MN12 Thunderbird's with a 5.0 are Sports..

I hope that clears up any confusion you had thinking you had a Sport..

Yeah..That Vin decodes as a 93 Thunderbird..

Your Title should say 93 Thunderbird LX..If you have a Title that is??..

Now you can update your Profile so it says "93 Thunderbird LX"..instead of "1992 Thunderbird Sport"..

I hope I could help you out..

My Sport was born in February of 91..Same month birthday as mine..lol

I used 2x3's on the inside of the car where the role cage would go.
Welded the rear to where the rear met. in front of where the K mounts.

Nothing at the front. So I am using a cross bar. Welded to where the front frame crosses. Placement a hugh issue. To far bace can't get driveshaft out.
to far forward can't get trany out.

check out link. you can see some of my role cage.

Y'know, there's some of that what would sell if you have space to store it for a while.

Looks like a solid car, how did you find one not rotted in Maine?

It's amazing on how long it takes to finish something you're not working on.
