This was my first time at the track since the DD Converter and the Crown Vic trans. The track conditions were awful, but I was still able to get a few consistant 15.4 slips. Car 108 was a modded 1989 Camero with a 350. In the 60FT, I had him!
I really need to get to a track that doesn't spin my tires at the starting line. I haven't had the best of luck with this in 2012.
I had a 15.4 slip before, but it was one.. Now I have 4 or 5 of them. Hopefully, 2013 will get me closer to my goal. Not too bad for a 1995 that was giving me 16.5s when I first got her.
Sounds to me like you really need to get a set of drag tires. That may help more than anything at this point.
