Restrictor plate racing

Would you like to see restrictor plates removed at tracks like daytona and talladega? With all the complaints that drivers seem to have with the hassles restrictor plates bring, maybe nascar will finally let the cars run wide open in future seasons. Please post why or why not.

rules are rules

Keep the rule. They all have the same rule to follow.

Also we want to keep the all time speed record for NASCAR.
Bill Elliot; in a Thunderbird.
He holds the track record for fastest qualifying speed at Talladega at 212.809 mph and Daytona International Speedway at 210.364 mph Both of these were set in 1987

I would rather see engine displacement dropped down.

Use a tool, don't be one...

Id rather see it come down to which team can build the strongest engine. I believe the 60-80's were the best years in nascar just for the simple fact that teams were able to build the strongest engine they could, and then go run that engine wide open. Bring back the iroc series for the drivers to compete using equally built cars.
