Eh went back to 1/8th mile

Best run was a 9.72 @ 75. With a 60' of 2.36. Ehh.. Did better last time with a 9.63 @ 77, but I was more consistant this time. 9.72-9.87. Left from idle everytime, no burnout, lowered tire pressure from 35psi down 2-3psi every two runs, stopped at 25psi.

Couldn't get my 60s down. Maybe bad track prep, maybe tires are getting low on tread either way I was spinning pretty good.

Track elev. 1863'
Temp. 77-80 F
Humidity 60%

Here's a crappy vid dunno what happened lol..

And here's a vid of this rx7 with a 350 swap.

I'm kinda stumped on the 2 mph loss. I raced with a 1/2 tank instead of a 1/4 tank but should have made THAT much of a difference. The only other difference is a c&l plenum....

Just means I gotta go back again!

If your tires are spinning, its almost a wasted run.
What I mean is, tire spin really kills your 60' time and just adout the same amount of ET for your finish line time.

On some freak runs with low stall Torque converetrs, ET will improve.
(just enough wheel spin to put the engine into its power band)

Yeah I wasn't happy about the spinning. Need bigger tires..

Still not sure about the 2mph loss.. I'm just going to blame that on weather conditions as I can't imagine the new plenum slowed me down.

Make sure the new tires are not just fat, but sticky as well! M/T DR's.

Yeah I was going to buy Ricks mustang wheels but for some reason I thought they were bullitts...

I think drag radials are in order now.

I found this really cool Density Altitude calculator on Dragtimes.com...
http://www.dragtimes.com/da-density-...calculator.php

First time I raced: 9/27/13

Elev. 1863 ft
Temp. 65 F
Bar. Pressure. 30.11" Hg
Humidity. 81%
DA = 2691 ft

Second time I raced: 8/29/14

Track elev. 1863'
Temp. 77-80 F
Bar Pressure 30.04" Hg
Humidity 60%
DA = 3560 ft

So between weather conditions and worse 60' times it shows why I was slower.
