I'm game. Of course, if I'm even in NC at that time remains to be seen...

I have a work trip to Alabama next week and I have a nice work related trip to Palm Springs, FL scheduled for week after next.

Mods? Yea, I got mods ...
Air silencer delete, warp drive, dilithium crystals, flux capacitor, Slingshot Rubber band power adder, Moonshine & Gas, Leaf Blower Supercharger, Hamster Wheel & Hamster, Energizer Bunny generating 1.21 gigawatts, Mr. Fusion® Home Energy Reactor, hover conversion and a sextant celestial navigation system (The original GPS)
Best 1/4: 1,320 nanoseconds @ 670,616,629.2 miles per hour

"There isn't that much difference anymore between spacecraft, aircraft and modern automobiles..." - Keith Henry, NASA's Langley Research Center
See a list of my real mods and pictures of my car HERE. The true performance of my car was made possible by the Carolinas Crew Chief, RobertP at Rob's Tire & Auto

my exhaust was done by a place called CIA (Cruel Illusions Auto) They do clean work and they are ford guys as well as imports. I was charged 200.00 plus tax for labor and materials with me providing the muffler and tips. They did my neighbors 96 bird just before i got mine done, and they will cut off your cats. Their number is 828-698-8081.

My beast is racking the miles really fast lately its one oil change away from turning 140K on stock everything, i bought this car in December with 125K (i know not terribly out of the ordinay), i can't be driving 200 miles unsure if im going to be driving it back after beating the **** out of it.

I will check with the wife and make sure that she doesn't have any major plans, but the 24th should work well for me as we will already be in Charlotte for Thanksgiving. I really want to see what my car will do with all the new exhaust, TC, and meth injection (should arrive this week) . All I need now is a good tune. Let me know when and where dinner is planned. Does anyone have some drag radials that I could borrow?

Kevin M

P.S. Rob, I will see if I can convince my brother to bring his Cobra as well, as he should be in Charlotte for the holiday too.

chances are we'd be eating before going to the track, so getting drunk wouldn't be the best thing to do.

and if you think beer tastes bad, you must not be drinking the right kind

Man i wish i could come down with you guys and run a 1/4 mile. I just finished the motor and trans and just need to get it tuned. The problem is that i live in PA right now for the next couple of months. I am training right now for Audi to become a technician and hopefully work at charlottes dealer. When i get back to Nc we need to plan one of these events again. I have to start working on my turbo set-up when i get home but hopfully i can get it done before the next meet. Look foward to running with you guys.
