Charlotte Auto Fair

Just to give everybody a heads up the Charlotte Fall 2006 Auto Fair is on September 16 & 17. We have 10 spots and if we need more I have to contact the track and they must be pre-approved, (so let me know if you think you'll be there,) no later than Friday July 7. Yes cook-out after, and breakfast on Sunday for those that can move in the morning. Limited beds but lots of floor space.

I'll be there. Might need to hit you up for some floor space if that's ok. I'll probably be bringing my latest acquisition...89 XR7 5-speed. That's assuming that it keeps running good. It is an SC, so who knows. But I will definitely be there.

I'm here. I need to check my schedule, but I definately want to be there. I will let you know ASAP if I will be there or not.

Ox,

I do not think that a clay bar is going to help your paint, unless you want to take it all off.....j/k It might help if you have surface contamination such as tree sap or small acid rain pits and things, other than that it is going to take a wet sand and buff.

Cool-Keep us informed. I know you're SOL for the spring one but fall is easier to make. That and the better half semi enjoys us doesn't she? Or does she just tolerate us b/c of you?

Well the paint was good until I blew the tranny line a few months back (well more like a year now??). I'll mess around with it sometime soon hopefully.

If you want I'll take some pics.

I got the car painted a year or two ago after an unfortunate incident with ice, telephone pole, newpaper bins (Mike-I think they finally replaced them).

Looks like we are starting to fill up let me or Will know if you need a room at the Inn or if you will be staying at a hotel near by. Last Spring some people wanted to be alone. We have some rooms at the house and plenty of floor space plus tents for those the want to ruff it.

Wayne sorry new to this will post on CT next time also.

As for the question we have the minimum number of spots you can have and they are weeding out no shows but at the same time tring to built attendence with new clubs so next year as soon as we can get a headcount we maybe able to get more spots. At least they said they would try to give us more spots.

Rick B

I think everybody has my e-mail address or had Joels which still is open.
