Blue lights can be a real problem when it comes to cops. I have Blue strobes under the car so I know.

Well the blue lights are wired to my courtesy lights on my doors, so they only come on when my dome light is on or i unlock my car, or the doors are opem.. i dont drive with them on......

But if you are interested in a pair i can mill them out for you, they replace the old plactic piece with the red side of it.... and i can paint the plastic any color if you want..... and oznium.com has the led strips i put inside it to light it up.....

And yeah, i posted it in 2 sections, because i put it in the electronmics section, and i am doing a diy on this so i added it to this section too......

Why don't your just settle on posting in one thread or the other that you started. Double posting the same comments in both threads is kinda stupid and spam-like.

It seems like you're the only one that's bothered by this. Maybe you should keep your thoughts to yourself, as it seems everything you say is negative.

so you just put a led bar in the door handle, **** i could do that. good thinkin though. I really want to ehh take apart my door handle and change the halogen bulb in it to white led, white so i dont get pulled. As for the lights on the rearview mirror, where did you mount them? did you take the mirror off and just drill holes in the bottom? I've been wanting to get some mirrors with leds behind the glass and then they are visible when lit. Like the 2000+expeditions with eddie bauer pack had.

yeah i just drilled holes under the mirror and siliconed them in so they would stay.

In my door handles i only have 1 LED, not the strip.... i didnt want to blind the guy next to me.

I bought some led mirrors, then someone sideswiped me and insurance put it back to stock so i took the other one back out..... i forgot where i got them... a comoany on the internet makes them.

If you want to use blue lights on a car, then read the law pertaining to blue lights for your state. A LOT of states' laws don't completely outlaw any use of blue lights under all circumstances, but do restrict their use when traveling on a public roadway OR if the lights could be interpreted to be confused with emergency or law enforcement. So if you only have blue light coming out the bottom of your mirrors that only come on when the door is open, you really don't have much to worry about. Also, many of those things can be used in shows or during parades, etc.

God Bless and Fly Low!
