I'm going to be upgrading my front brakes soon (with the PBR mustang units), and I need to convert my '92 to the later style front suspension. Now heres the question: what needs to be changed exactly? Hubs? Control arms? Ran a few searches and came up empty handed, but I cant believe this hasnt been covered before.
You will need the spindles from an ABS-equipped car specifically, if your 92 has ABS. The 89 - 92 spindles were the same for ABS or not, but the 93 - up spindles were two different types. The stabilizer bar end links will also have to be changed to match the newer spindles. Get some new hardware for the mounting points, and you should be good to go. The control arms and hubs from your 92 will work just fine.
cheers,
Ed N.
