HSW Plate Kit?

Has anyone here used this kit? I was wondering about hood clearance on the MN12s.

Heres a link to the kit

Couldn't you just use a plate (that company or similar), and run that instead of the fitting in the intake tube? I know either NOS or Nitrous Express used to make a 4.6 plate like that.

Nitrous Express and Harris Speed Works makes plates for the 4.6 as far as I know. Yes the plate replaces the nozzle on the intake tube.

Yes, I'm saying running a more reputable kit, and just get the plate later.

i was always told to put the n2o injecter 6-8 inches in front of the throttlebody somewhere in the intake pipe....something about better atomization with the incomeing air and less chance of fuel puddling in the intake runners

I know a few people running Harris kits with absolutely no problems. They might be a smaller company but they have quality products.

I'll prob just do a basic dry kit for the moment and then convert to a wet plate later on.
