I hit the little button.

Well I finally got my X-Cal 2 and tryed the NA tune first and it was nice.

Then I switched the tune to the NOS and drove for a little and it was good. So I tryed the little red button and nice became really nice. I hit it in the middle of second gear and the car surged forward slightly but I noticed it never let up. Definately cool. For the record 75 shot. I will probably run that until I feel confident in the cars ability to handle it appropriately and then step ut to the 100 shot.

Ya know... I've had it for a long time and have yet to run it. Been waiting for a decent test and tune night at the track.

Congrats

Now get that thing on a track and see how she does. Sounds like you are getting her where she needs to be. I'd still get it on a dyno and tuned to see exactly how its all working and get and idea on the numbers. Have fun!!!

Al FLorida, I don't understand the meaning of waiting for a GOOD test and tune night. Any night you are running test and tune should be a good nite.

Get her out there and let it rip!!!!!

not to get off subject, but have you guys had any problems with vibrations @80?. Im just really annoyed right now I have tried alot like, new one peice drive shaft, new poly diff bushings , I rotated the shaft 180 degrees and still nothing, Im feeling it in the seat and threwout the car but not the steering wheel, only if I grab the door panels or in the rear view mirror.

Well, if you knew this area of Florida, it rains every afternoon in the summertime. Rain = No good test and tune night.

Oh and before the hot weather settled in, I still had a speed limiter. That with 4.10 gears would cut me out around 85. I wouldn't want to be dropping gas out of cylinders when running nitrous.

I'm very much aware of Floriday weather as my Grandparents both live/lived in Melbourne Florida for well over 25 years. Several years ago they sold the place and both have since departed. They were within 10 miles of Melbourne beach and I know the afternoon thunderboomers, showers you speak of.

Far as the warm weather, thats got nothing to do with the nitrous. (Yes the tune did), but that has been corrected so that should have nothing to do with it now. Nitrous tends to run better in warm weather than in in cooler weather cause basically you have your own cold air in the bottle and bottle pressures have a tendancy to stay more consistant in warmer weather.

Time to see what she will do!!!!

I am trying but the only days that I have are Sundays I usually work everynight of the week including Saturdays and this Sunday is Fathers day.

My goal is to have her dialed in with the shiftpoints using the X-Cal2 by the NMRA at the Joilet raceway. I don't know which class to run in because I am not sure which class they will let me run in just yet. I guess i have to look that up.
