Bosch Intercooler Pump Connector

Does anyone know the part number for the correct plug to power the FRPP Bosch intercooler pump? The one I custom made broke. And now that I've removed the mechanical pump, I really need this electric one functioning. It's no fun seeing 180 IAT's...

Thanks,
John

I talked to the local FRPP rep and can not find this connector through Ford. At least not without an entire harness from a Cobra or Lightning....

Think I'll have to solider wires to the pins. Don't have time to locate a salvaged one.

John,

I used a pigtail from an injector on a '00 GT harness, as it's a direct fit. I repined the connector to accept a heavier gauge wire. You could run the wires to spade type connectors and attach them to the tabs inside the pump's connector. Then fill the void with silicone.

Well, I jumped the gun. The last time I had a failure, it was a broken connector to the pump. Just unwrapped it and good, but no power there. I used two individual speaker terminal connectors, one with insulation around it for the positive.

Turns out the cheap relay I bought, accumulated water. Over time the copper throw inside erroded away.

These simple problems I can deal with!

Thanks for the good information. I would like to make a proper looking connector anyway.

John,

That's nasty looking.

I think I may also have a few connectors left. Let me know if you need one.

I bought a new relay last night. Went to a different place, but amazingly all they had was ones from this supplier. This time I took the top off, then glued it together with clear rtv. Don't expect the same trouble anytime soon.
