Exclamation AED Gone? What now?

I was shocked when I heard about AED. but is the only supercharger application for a bird now the Vortech (i know it must be modified), but are there any other companies that make supercharger kits that could fit t he 4.6L SOHC 97' bird?

Nope...

To my knowledge, AED was the only company that offered a KIT for the 4.6L MN12. You can get just about any supercharger to work. Paxton, Vortech, Kenne-Bell, Ford Racing, ATI and even Powerdyne will fit the engine.

Kenne-Bell will fit with a cowl hood and some engineering.

Mike V's Kenne-Bell T-Bird...

The Ford Racing blower fits the MN12 as well. Not a kit, but many people here have installed it with great results.

i read that article, id assume you could easyily buy the kenne-bell 1.7L blower and bolt it onto your car, id guess you would need a diffrent hood, or modifications for it to fit, i cant believe AED went under
