Cold Weather Maintenence

Just curious what the daily drivers here do (if different minus longer warmup) for your supercharged birds.

Weather is getting colder here for my first SC winter and fortunately I'll be in a garage tomorrow (free for me 2 hours of computer work a month ) so I can finally change my own oil here and keep **** out there for the car. What sucks for me is my commute is shorter than the warmup time for my car. Nothing above 2500RPM on that drive.

I enjoy the colder ACT temps. You will notice a huge difference in power from the SVO in real cold weather

Nah-I was just saying I was enjoying the cooler temps. It's been low 30's lately and getting colder. If I'm not drinking then I'm cold.

LOL good points.

So does anyone do anything differently when it's cold (and cold being relative to your location) or just get in it and go?

im not blown... but I would suggest a bit thinner oil? maybe check and or flush your coolant? Make sure your windshield wiper fluid has a anti-freeze additive... Wiper blades...

Good messure kinda things.

dude that rainX crap messed with my winshield... I tested it on the edge of the drivers side... mine was the water resistant stuff that makes the water slide off the windshield... yeah that little strip I put on collects dirt like no other.. now the anti fog probably goes on the inside and is probably okay. But the outside stuff totally messed with my windshield.
