One of my fellow Nevada club members has the rear brace and he says he can tell. Another friend of mine has both sets of braces. I haven't spent enough time in the car to really have an opinion on them. I'd think that they are a nice upgrade to our cars. But at this point thats just my speculation.

I have a torsional load brace on mine, Its a pretty noticable difference through hard acceleration and cornering.

As for the K-member bracing I'd get them from Johnny Langton if he's still making them. His design not only connects the frame rails to the K-member, but they also add strength to the K-member itself.

I have them from JL, but they look similar. I also got the rest of his package at the same time, so it is hard to tell which part helped most.

I also got new springs at the same time and it was a different car after all that.

If you start adding parts like that, you'll soon realize how flexible the unibody really was.

just adding jl's sub frame connectors was a huge, noticeable difference. you can really tell that the suspension and not the body is taking the beating from the road.

I have both of them, the FSSB really hepled the front end soak up the bumps, now I just need to weld the bracket on for my LECB. The torsional load brace? Well it's hard to say how much of a difference it made, I already had the rear shock tower brace but I didn't really notice any big improvements when I put the torsional load brace on. Maybe I just didn't run the car hard enough in the twisties! That's gonna change though since I'm redoing my suspension here very shortly.

I have 4 braces in my car currently and installed each of them at different times, I have a rear torsional load brace, rear shock tower brace, sc L braces, and a custom V-brace, the rear torsional load brace was noticeable most durring dips, and twistys, I definatly noticed a difference, the rear shock tower brace I installed helped mainly in twistys, and sc L braces and custom V-brace seemed to help most in unibody flex, I've gone from oversteer to understeer, my next investment will be lecb, fssb, and a fstb.

They can be found on fold down seat SC's. They bolt to where the seat back does and 2 studs in the middle.

I originally used the stock v-brace with the L-braces, the only modification that needs to be made is if you are using fold down seats and that is at the point of the V, it needs to have a hole drilled to bolt the center of it between the two lower bolts to mount the seat frame to the body otherwise the stock bolts are long enough it just takes a lot of patience to get them to thread into both threaded bosses.

Hi

was just under my car. I see the drop is to clear the rear pumpkin mount.

What if the brace was mounted 90* to the picture? I think it would do more.
(flat to the rear)

note: I have no exhaust pipes to the rear of my car.

You mean like this?

Works well, clears most everything(except stock exhaust), and get max ground clearance.

I've been welding up a set of these for my car as well. Custom exhaust needs to be taken into account, but stock exhaust will fit the SCP looking brace no problem.

I have an extra RTLB if anyone wants it. It will clear stock exhaust.

I'll make a set for anyone interested, but I'm not going to bother if it's just a passing interest.
I'm making my own beause I don't like SCP's prices, but I'm also trying to engineer a better design for some of them.

Rest In Peace Mom.

Yes, we did make that one. We're not making any more as of this moment, but that doesn't mean we're not gonna make some int he near future. There's a house that needs completed, and some remodel work on mine that needs done before I commit to any other projects..

Not exactly as shown in the pictures.

It does make a big difference. I was surprised at how much flex that area has-even on a stock car.
