If they are a REAL PAIN IN THE A**, (like my LCA balljoints, where the pickle fork didn't work) you will need a set like this:

Guys, this is really what you want; only a couple of these are really needed, but man...
I took out the first set of ball joints with a fork, but ended up buying a 2 jaw puller for the endlinks... it worked so much better than the fork.
I beat on the ball joints for an hour with the pickle fork; the second set (on the black car) I was completely done on both sides in an hour.
Save yourself some serious effort!
