Over Torqued UCA ???

Ok a while back i replaced my UCA with Moog and my struts and springs. Well get a nice loud POP everyone now and then either while taking a corner or turning left. I had tightened them down pretty good, is it possible that I tightened them down a little to much and now the bushings pop or what?

A problem can occur while tightening suspension components during the time the suspension is in a fully extended position. This causes a preload condition which can cause unnecessary wear and diminished bushing life (and other issues including popping). All suspension adjustments and tightening sequences have to occur while the components are at established ride height. (normally done by using a jack)

Then you did it exactly right, so likely that's not your popping. You can still loosen and retighten the 4 bolts easy enough as suggested above.

Look at lower control arm bushing ... lower ball joints ... strut rods bushings ... front subframe to body bolts ... steering rack mounts.

A fine pair ... ... and whatever you do, Have a Safe Trip!
