Suspension Rebuid

Hey all...Me and my dad were talking yesterday about getting my bird back on the road, and I was wondering If anyone makes Suspension Rebuild kits for the MN12 like you can buy for other cars. Because buyin a kit with all the parts included would save me alot of time over buying the parts individually. Thanks.

i haven't seen one but if you go to supercoupeperformance.com they have literally every part you need and you can order it all at once and have a lot of it shipped in 1 box like sway bar links and all the bushings and what not. hope that helps any.

my other ride is an ambulance!

I have the same car as you. I would avoid any of those ebay deals, because you never know what you are getting. I'm not familiar with supercoupeperformance but I heard good things about them.

You are probably better off with Moog parts from Rockauto and the parts counter here.

making a list of what you need: 2 UCAs (from Jon, less than 50 a piece), 2 Moog LCAs (gives you a new ball joint and 2 bushings) at $60ea, 2 Moog (or something similar) Sway bar links, possible Tie rod ends if needed. There are 5% discount codes for rockauto.

For stock suspension I will suggest Sensatrac quick struts (rockauto), especially if you have original springs that are broken or close to it. about $260 shipped, and you get new springs, mounts and don't have to bother with shops or spring tools. Lifetime warranty if there ever is an issue. If you want to lower, that is another story, there are lots of alternatives.

The strut rod bushings are best bought at Ford, but they are expensive, even with the discounts here.

With this setup you can be assured of at least 100K trouble free miles.

I'll have to check out this rockauto place...sounds good...I was thinking about going with the eibach lowering kit though...or another kit if theres something better out there.
