I purchased a Tokico 1.25" lowering kit that came with springs and shocks/struts. All you need to purchase are the strut mounts.

The kit was $375 shipped from shox.com and my strut mounts cost about $60.

I got my mounts from Ford, same price as wood e paid. It takes an afternoon to put them on, though depending on rust and condition of other parts in the area it could take a bit longer.

I got my mounts from Oreilly's since I know a guy there.

I haven't put it on yet but I am estimating a weekend for the work since mines rusty.

Use a lot of PB Blaster and you'll be fine. At least these cars aren't my SHO... the pinch bolt goes right into the knuckle and if you break it you're screwed!

PB Blaster is a penetrating catalyst to help loosen up those rusted bolts.
