Drop spindles?

A friend of mine claims that he had a lowered 96 thunderbird with drop spindles...I don't think drop spindles exist for these cars, do they? And if they do, is there any advantage to using them?

Wouldn't drop spindles really screw up the suspension geometry?

Needs more stall.

drop spindles should be better for geometry versus drop springs

Typically, Dropped spindles are similar to stock spindles with the Hub relocated further upwards to lower the front end of the vehicle.

They dont exist for our cars.

However, I have seen one set of Lowered Thunderbird spindles - they were cut and ARC welded back together to decrease the overall height, and installed onto a Hotrod frame being built for a 30ish Ford. They were shortened so the upper control arms didnt need to mount up so high.
