Parts Questions

Hey I recently bought a 97 Sport (to replace my destroyed 95 RIP) and it needs the usual sway bar links and such also the rack is a little stiff when I first start to move no matter how long the car idles. I guess it might need to be replaced anyway I wanted to know if the sport part number would be different due to the thicker sway bar and springs etc. I only see one part listed for a 97 v8 and just wanted to make sure they would bolt up ok. Thanks

Well I have done more research and I think the sway bar links are the same just the bar its self is different, as far as the rack nothing seems to be different but I would still like to be sure if anybody knows. Im sure one of yall have been down this road before.

IMHO, the best place to compare part numbers and such is

97 Laser Red Thunderbird LX 162k, Stage 2 4.6L 2v N/A | 300 BHP (255 RWHP, 290 RWTQ) | 13.95 @ 97.58 | Build details | Pics at the Lorain Assembly plant
98 Black Mark VIII 160k, stock daily driver
07 Redfire Fusion V6 SEL 178k, for the wife
Gone but not forgotten: 96 Mark VIII, 94 Cougar XR7, 93 Mark VIII
