qa1 coilover spring question.

So i have the QA1 10-way adjustable coilovers in the front of my bird. Im running 14-325 qa1 springs. so, my problem is that the spring rate isnt enough. i have the lower adjustments about halfway up the body of the shock. its fine when i have the welds on the car but going back to the street wheels, it sits to low. I could go to a heavier weight spring, 14-350 but im not sure that will raise it up enough. my question is, if i went to a shorter length spring, but heavier weight will it work? with a 12" spring i can go up to a 675lb spring if i wanted.
