Strut rod bushing issues.
Let me start of by saying pretty much my whole front end is new within the last month. The issue im having is that the left strut rod appears to be too tight. When I make hard left hand turns the wheel rubs the inner fender. I looked into it and when the wheel is fully left it actually collapsed the frame side bushings and pulls the arm back out of the hole about 3 inches. I used the cheap blue thermo plastic bushings, or whatever they're called. Is this why everyone says not to use them or am I an exception? I made no adjustments to the arms when I did the bushings. I eyeballed the LCAs and the car drives pretty straight for now. I know I need to get it aligned but I need new tires anyway so I figured it coulld wait since it drives straight for now. The passenger tire rubs slightly too but nothing looks out of place on that side. I also grabbed a set of springs/struts out of a 94 v8 car in the junkyard cause the struts were fairly new and mine had 200k on them. I didn't think it would make a noticeable difference. Mines a 91set v8 with adjustable suspension btw. Any advise would be appreciated. Im sure I could figure it out myself but I just don't have the time to tear back into it right now.
