Thumbs up Rattle fixed !!

Had a "rattle"/noise in the rear of the car. It was the Sway bar links. Even though the car only has 30k on it, it set in a garage for alot of its life.

The bushings were just gone !! SO, they are replaced, and no more noise.

While I can, I noticed that the control arms bushings were the same way, so I will just go through the front end, and replace whatever is needed.

Am going to just do ball joints and all.

At least I get a discount on my parts !!!!!! LOL

P.S. I am using MOOG parts on all of this.

Moog aren't always the best parts for our applications.

For the front strut rod to frame bushings, be sure to use the Original Ford bushings - there's links in the suspension parts thread that give you the proper part numbers.

Raybestos Advanced Technology or Professional Grade parts are working out better than Moog's also, at least partly due to the crap they've started using to replace their rubber parts.

O.K. I can't get a buy on the other parts though. I can on MOOG.

Dumb question. Are the bushings mentioned a separate part??

For some of the parts, that's not a good deal. A "buy" is only good if the parts are quality. You can save even more by not replacing the defective parts, there's no way you can get Moogs that cheap

Check the sticky.

Yes, they are, but the numbers are in the sticky.
