Smile K member differences??

hey guys. picked up a 90 tbird with a 351w and top loader 4 speed swapped in. really clean body but some gay stuff done to it. Springs car cut and welded to frame on rear. fronts are cut really short. single suicide door and custom rag top that wasn't installed great. to much effort to fix all that. doors are on poppers and don't seal correct. mainly got it for motor and trans. mostly applied to the forum because i can't find a straight answer. I would like to know if the k member from this car will bolt into a 94 up car. I've seen that the tubular k member from aje fits all the years but I've also seen a thing or 2 about how the 4.6 has one mounting hole thats an inch farther over. thanks guys

Yeah the K-member from the 90 will bolt into the 94 no problem. If you tried to re-use the 94 K-member, you would need to modify the motor mount like you mentioned, its off by about an inch on the passenger side.

so its just the motor mounts that are different on the k member? not the holes that actually bolt the member into the body?

Correct, the actual K member to body mounting holes are all in the same spots
