So, Did I Get The Correct...

...bushings for the rear upper control arm to frame position?

 photo IMG_20150812_224300_zpsvvuqijmf.jpg

 photo IMG_20150812_224313_zpsto4iiyad.jpg

I looked at the pictures of the correct ones in the sticky, but I can't tell if mine are exactly the same or not!

Thanks,

Dennis

Brand? Part number and source? I suspect a few people will want to know. Given the number of wrong ones that seem to be out there.

Thanks GM. I'd read that thread before to. Which is why I asked. So it's looking like currently Raybestos is the only correct part. Are these Raybestos Advanced or Pro grade? Anyone know that?

I'm curious if the OP got these from Amazon or RockAuto or O'Vantazone.

I don't need these at the moment but I think as soon as a have any extra coin I'm going to order a set or two.

Yes, that's exactly right. I got them from Amazon; they're Raybestos 570-1001 Professional Grade. They currently list for $37.18 each, but the listing now says "ships in 1-3 MONTHS"!

they're probably just out of stock and post up a generic time-frame since Raybestos likely has to supply many supply chains/distributors. I've seen products with that time-frame end up in stock in two weeks sometimes.

The last time I ordered something off of Amazon that said it shipped in 1-3 MONTHS..It shipped 3 months later..

Probably on Back Order, or the manufacturer is waiting until they have enough orders before they make more of them..

Hopefully they don't discontinue it..Since this part actually fits the way it's supposed to..

If they do, I think I might be able to offer a nice aftermarket solution, assuming my machining skills mature sufficiently by then.

Both Amazon & Rock Auto are also currently selling an ACDelco Professional 45G11001 rear arm-to-frame (upper) bushing for the MN12 T-Bird/Cougar that I believe is the same, exact part as the Raybestos bushing I bought from Amazon.

A lot of ACDelco & Raybestos parts seem to be the same, exact parts, just marketed/sold under different brand names.

Thanks for the update. I know Raybestos and ACDelco have different lines that why I asked.

I'm still waiting on a different, somewhat particular aftermarket solution of a different kind.
