Front Strut Support Rod Bushing availability

Hi:
In the process of rebuilding my suspension, i realized that I need to replace my front LCAs spindle support ball joint. Since that is easiest replaced by swapping out the front LCAs, I'm starting down this process.

One of the items that it looks like I need to replace (mine seem shot) are the front strut rod to front LCA bushings.
In the time since I replaced, it looks like the supply of E9SZ3A140A and E9SZ3A140B have dried up. I was all excited when I found an online dealer with some available but it turns out that they just haven't updated their inventory system and can't get any more in.

From what I've read, the key here is to NOT get the harder thermoplastic ones.... rubber ones are ideal as they will not fail abruptly.

I'd like some opinions about the options I've found so far. Any other comments?

E9SZ-3A140-B

MadMikey says that thermoplastic will work just fine on the LCA-side bushings.
For what it's worth, I've never had any issues with the thermoplastic ones on the control arm side, and that includes my lemons racer as well. At the frame side, you need the OEM rubber ones, but for the control arm side, I run the parts store thermoplastic ones on all my MN12s, and have never had a set fail.

SCP has rubber ones for $49.99 shipped
- They stand by their products and say that they are exact duplicates of the Ford parts but you are clearly paying a premium here.

Autozone has rubber ones still available Duralast #FA7193
- Any opinions? In my area these are $12/side or $24/total (half the price of SCP)
- Only reference i found was tbirdguy using them in 2008 but no updates on how well they have held up

Others have mentioned using the TRW HB1644K parts from advanceauto.com but I haven't seen any long term reports here, either

You still want rubber for the frame-side or OEM here and I'm not sure if there are any better options than SCP. When I called to confirm my order with Ford of Kirkland to buy the strut rod to LCA bushings, they informed me that neither Ford not any other dealership (they have the ability to check inventory) have these bushings.

Ford ones still available. I bought mine from Ford of Kirkland (found via google).

The link to the SCP ones are for the strut rod to LCA. The other ones you posted are strut rod to frame/K member. Here are the front ones: Front Strut Rod Bushings and they are $100 plus shipping. Even worse for cost actually and they are poly so I'm not convinced they are any better than the thermoplastic.

I would agree with that assessment based on what I've read. Unfortunately it appears that we don't have any choice in the matter. It's either cheap thermoplastic that we all know fails or it's really expensive poly urethane from SCP that none of us seems to have any information about. I guess when my thermoplastic ones fail then I'll take the plunge and get the SCP ones.

Would these work? I just grabbed the TRW part number listed and Googled them. NAPA came up in the list of hits. Not sure if it's thermoplastic or not. Nothing in the description says it is or isn't.

My car has had thermoplastic ones on the LCA side longer than the OEM rubbers lasted.

First gen Mustang Polys work on the frame side, they're about $20 a pair

After re-reading MaddMartigan's post, I realized that I was confusing parts so I updated my post above.

Please confirm if I have them correctly.
If I want to replace the strut rod to LCA parts and am OK with going thermoplastic, FA7193 or SCP's $50 parts will work for me, right?

Edited to say the Mustang ones are too small and also thermoplastic. Doesn't matter though. I already destroyed the thermoplastic ones.
