Replaced upper control arm
Finally had an upper ball joint wear out at 205,000 miles.
Driver's side had about 1/8" of side to side play in it.
Glad to see the new motorcraft ones have a grease fitting.
Trolley jack, and one jack stand.
18mm 6 point combination wrench.
18mm Craftsman ratcheting combination wrench.
Torch - to heat up the upper spindle arm.
Lots of brute strength....lol
Worst part of job for me. Separating the ball joint stud out of the upper spindle arm.
