Front clunk over bumps

I have a 93 Thunderbird 3.8, and it makes a clunking/rattling sound going over bumps or semi-smooth roads. Almost sounds like something is shaking up front.

A guy I know says it might be the strut bushing. Is that hard to replace? Could it be something else?

Thanks.

take a look at the sway bar endlink's. When the bushings wear out they make a ticking clicking sound.
