Tension Strut

Hey Guys,

As most of you know I ran into the curb by my house damaging a few suspension parts.
  • Outer Tie Rod
  • Tension Strut

So, anyways, I have the outer tie rod in a box in my house, waiting on my dad to get out there and help with a bolt that I cant get out (but like my self, he's extremely lazy at times and tired from work :P ).

The Tension Strut is what I'm worried about, when I hit the curb (according to my dad) it jerked the tension strut back and therefore bent most of what it's hooked up to accordingly (the metal piece welded onto the chassis).

So, how much do you think it will cost (as it's in no condition to be driven right now to get an estimate)?

Is it possible to fix this at home, we have no welding kit, etc.

I finally found my Haynes book and that's how I figured out what the name of it is.

Thanks,
Eric M. Pelezo

Update,

Went to put on the tie rod and spent about an hour trying to figure out why it wouldn’t fit, then I figured out it was upside down .

Thanks,
