Question Catastrophic failure?

OK, I've been spamming the forums today about my recent purchase of a 96 Sport with 207k miles on it.

My question for this forum is: are there any suspension components that could be extremely worn or dangerous with those miles? What symptoms should I look for? I don't want to be going down the road only to have something break and send me into a tree.

I tried to search, but really didn't know what to search for.

Thanks for any help,
John

Thanks, I found JustinH's "public service" thread, and I think that answered all my questions.

watch the bushings too, stuff will fail real quick if the bushngs allow metal on metal contact.
