cutting springs

Knightbird was for sure he bought the right combo; Tokico springs and shocks..but, after a few few weeks
he went for Koni's, so the shocks and his stock sportsprings (of his 1996) are mine.

Now i've heard some of you do have good experience about cutting springs and i would be pleased if you guys can tell me how much it will drop by one cut and how much at two cuts.
Am i right if you cut, for example, the rear two cuts you have to cut the front springs one and a half?
Thanks,

Dutch

Here's a thread for you. This one shows the difference between half a coil, and 2 full coils.
