Looking for a "Mid" Priced Shock

I Drive a 94 3.8 LX> I'm planning on ordering a set of suspension tequniques lowering springs. I'd like to change the shocks at the same time, Any sugguestions as to what kind I should be looking for?? Also I'm thinking of cutting a half a coil off my springs is this wise or am I going too low where I'll bottem out everywhere????

I would use this first next time

The sport front cobra convert rear shocks are the most popular for a decent price If you want the best go for KONI

Sport fronts and standard Motorcraft rears are good also, and are a little cheaper, the rears just aren't as stiff.
