Whole wheel moves freely.... ???

I was testing my front suspension out yesterday, and I noticed this: When in reverse and moving slowly, when I hit the brakes the 2 front wheels shifted towards the front of the car, when I let go of the brakes they returned to normal. It wasn't a huge shift, maybe an inch or two. What do you guys think, LCA?? I'm about to install new strut rod bushings, UCA's and LCA's, and new tie-rod ends. Anyone?

Front to Rear movement is normally a result of failed strut arm bushings.
You should NOT drive the car until that is fixed. Radical changes in steering geometry
can result in you finding yourself in another lane of traffic!

Ok, those words should never be used together when describing a worn suspension!!!

I agree strut arm bushings. Replace them!!

They look ratty as all hell. It's total garbage. I bought the kit from autozone, it has a couple metal tubes, bushings, etc. Doesn't look like all those parts would fit... it has to be different looking when I get it apart. I've got a ton of work to do!!! UCA, LCA's, tie rod ends, rod bushings, 180 tstat, colder plugs, wires, chip. Im gonna be up allllll night!!! Thanks guys.
