Kenny Brown parts re-release

The company that bought KB's jig's is started to manufacture the suspension parts again.

Here's an auction on eBay: click me!

I have talked to the owner of the company and told him about the site. He said he is definitely willing to do a pre-production / group buy special for us, I have already contacted Kodiak kid about this and am waiting to hear back from him.

If your interested in any of these parts please post here and/or let Kodiak kid so we can get this going.

I know I want a damn shock tower brace!

the guy is advertising that he makes them with the old jigs that project industries used to make Kenny Browns stuff. I highly doubt there was any stock left that KB had, when I bought a few of my braces in late '03 and early '04, they had to check and see if they had anything left since it hadnt been produced in a while.

Does anyone know if these will bolt right on? Or will I have to actually weld some of the stuff on? I wouldn't mind having these, if it was a simple bolt on!

JL's stuff is way better. This stuff is not bad, but when you see them side by side you will know what i'm talking about.

Bill says he scanned the image years ago, he doesn't own it.

Who care's where the picture came from, of course it's an old picture, the guy hasn't started making any of the parts yet to take pictures of his stuff; although the other picture on eBay does look like a different metal, and different color coating. And thats of the part thats on auction. The guy told me that he's still deciding on what part(s) to produce next -- thats why he wanted to do a pre-production sale; to see what the majority wanted.

The Great Obucina - "I highly doubt there was any stock left that KB had"
You act like people can't buy square box metal anymore; the jig's are what is needed to manufacture these parts and thats what this guy bought, not some metal tubing.

Also JL's stuff may be better, but is he still producing these parts anymore? At least not on a regular basis. I think a lot of people want some of these parts, and to be able to get these easily and in a timely fashion would be great.

Hey I don't care if anyone buy's this guy's stuff or not; I just want a damn shock tower brace, cause I'm to lazy to build my own, so if this guy can build them then I'm going to buy one.

Hey BluBird was it an original KB piece, or a new piece made by this guy?

FSTB needs 6 holes drilled.

LECB bolts right on.

FSSB needs two holes enlarged.

LECB ties in with the FSSB and requires some minor welding.

Its pretty easy to slap this stuff on.

yes, im quite aware that square tubing is available, I answered the question on reselling old stock...Kenny Brown's stock was quite limited. The company that made the braces for Kenny Brown was project industries, they more than likely sold the jigs. Is this guy affiliated with LMS West?

If those people will choke up money when they "want" these parts instead of kicking tires-I might start making them regularly again.
Last time I bought a large batch of material and made up parts-I had to sit on it for several months after I had a dozen or more people that "wanted" to buy them "right now".Steel is not cheap right now nby any means, and I have no interest in having to sit on materials and labor for a long period of time.
Now that I've cleared that up-I had planned on fabbing up a batch of parts(all of them) very soon.

I just happen to have a full set of KB's pieces new in the box. FSSB, LECB and RTLB. Make me an offer on them via PM. But don't insult me, you will not buy the set for $50.

not to squash Bill's sale.. but be weary of the RTLB.... if you are lowered more than an inch.. you might draw sparks on bumps..

If you make the Front suspension support brace and the lower engine control brace, will they fit mark 8's? If you make these you can put me on the list to buy some.
I purchased the subframe connectors and the rear shock tower brace a while ago and am very happy with them.

I don't kick tires. Count me in. If you build it, I will buy it. Tell me when and how much to where.

the Rear Torque Load Brace does not need welding, the Lower Engine Cradle Brace does, just a few spots on the sub frame.

That would be the subframe connector kit,and it requires a couple of mounting brackets be welded to the subframe.
