Question radius arm bushings

I went out today and purchased some new strut rod bushings. I bought a set of TRW bushings. The sleeve sizes are 2-1/4 and 3 inch. From what I was reading with the Moog bushings you have to trim the 3 inch one to 2-3/4. Is this true with just the Moog bushings or all of them. On the kit to the frame it has 2 washers, 2 bushings, and 1 sleeve. The picture of the Moog setup there is 4 other pieces. 2 of them are nuts, but what are the other 2 pieces?? So would I need to replace the nuts?? If so is the kit that I have missing those 2 other pieces minus the nuts?

The requirement of checking and adjusting ferrule length is limited to those using the moog thermoplastic
bushings. No problems have been reported using any other standard bushing set.
