Upper ball joints

Can you purchase upper ball joints seperately (from the UCA)?

I changed out my complete UCAs on my 95 and 97.......but I have a friend with more time and less money and he would rather press out the old ball joints and press in new ones if the option is available.

If anyone knows part numbers that would be great.

It hard to determine a list like this exists because there are soooooo many post about front end suspension replacement.

Thanks for the help,

Ron

Yes you can but they almost cost as much as an entire new control arm assembly. It's cheaper to buy the entire control arm because you get the new ball joint AND new bushings.

It's also quite easy to change them out. I just did it on my 91 and I've never messed with front ends before. I was gonna get a shop do do this for me because I didn't want to screw anything up, but when the shop owner told me the Upper Arm and ball joint where availible together, I was all about giving it a try.

the upper ball joint IS NOT seperately serviceable. you either get the new arm or nothing at all......the bushing set on the other hand is serviceable.
