Just a wee little lower.

When I bought my Intrax spring set, I expected the front of my car to drop the
1.8" that they advertised. So far, my drop is just 1 1/8". I've had them on for a month and just measured the change. My back springs are stock with one coil removed. The car sits right as of now, and I won't install the new rears until the fronts sag the needed 5/8", otherswise my car will be a taildragger.
I removed the front stock coils by bolting on spring compressors and then letting the shock fire off by just removing the center nut only. With a minor thump, they released unto the floorjack bracing the lower end (all the usual components were unbolted as required). The savings was not in time, but in not having to index the shocks to the end seats. The seats stayed with the car and all I did was install the new coils unto the shocks, then push them up with the floor jack. The gain was mostly just skipping the possibility of struggling with indexing errors and not having to leave home. It rides nearly like stock, and I don't yet have to be
driveway careful. It's a good thing.

I just installed a set of Intrax springs in a buddy's 1990 Supercoupe. The front springs were removed by unbolting the middle bolt, then I lifted the car in the air with the jack, and it relieved the tension on the springs, so I just had to unbolt everything else and take the shocks / springs out.

As for the springs settling in .. we noticed that it did drop about 1 inch initially, and then it took about 3 weeks before it dropped even with the rear end. But after we jacked the car back up to look at something else, it was at 1 inch again. Its been a couple months now, and I think the front end settled down by now - but the springs are made for the V8 afterall, not the SC, not sure of the weight difference.

I had installed a set of Intrax 2" springs when I first bought my 1994 Tbird back in 1997 .. 10 years later, they are about 3 inches lower than the stock height, so they settled in, and then some.
