hello everyone!!!!!!!

I had no idea a place like this was around and i have to say its awesome not many people know much about these cars anymore, even the dealerships are lacking in info.

i have a 95 mercury cougar XR7 original white and tan leather interior it is now a two owner car, i bought it about 6 months ago with 110,000 original miles and since i have had it, it now has 114,000, it runs great.

i bought it from an old man who was just too old to drive anymore and had to give it up it had not been driven in a while before i bought it. im not too sure about the maintenance, i replaced the plugs, wires, and pcv and they all were Ford Motorcraft, i would assume that those are not the originals but im not sure.

It has tan leather interior and original white paint with original rims and center caps and ice cold air, everything seems original except the radio change to a 90's Pioneer super tuner CD player but no speaker upgrade, so those are still original Ford. it was built in '95 but in the latter half of 95 so it has the current air 134a Freon and standard fittings from the factory, luckily no hassle there. It runs great and gets pretty good gas mileage for a v8.

i myself live in northern MS close to Memphis, TN.

Welcome Chad. Nice find.

These cars are great daily drivers and are fun to mod (although expensive) - the sky's the limit as far as mods go ... depending on your budget.

Mods? Yea, I got mods ...
Air silencer delete, warp drive, dilithium crystals, flux capacitor, Slingshot Rubber band power adder, Moonshine & Gas, Leaf Blower Supercharger, Hamster Wheel & Hamster, Energizer Bunny generating 1.21 gigawatts, Mr. FusionŽ Home Energy Reactor, hover conversion and a sextant celestial navigation system (The original GPS)
Best 1/4: 1,320 nanoseconds @ 670,616,629.2 miles per hour

All 1994 and later year models came with R134, it was not a mid-year changeover. Freon is a brand name for R12, like Kleenex is to tissue paper. Otherwise, welcome to the club.
