Talking 4th annual fordbastards track day April 26-27,2008

OK boys and girls, time to start thinkin and saving for

the 4th Annual fordbastards Track Day.

The dates are: April 26 & 27th, 2008.

Location: Texas World Speedway in College Station, Texas. http://www.texasworldspeedway.com/

Cost: $250 for the track: First 20 payers will get a free paddock.

Includes: 5-20 minute sesssions on Saturday and 5-20 minute sessions on Sunday.

It will be the road course, most likely the 2.9 mile layout. It's a lot of fun, but you have to be able to do something other than drive in a straight line. And if you take a SuperCoupe out there, you better take a case of headgaskets...

It's only funny until someone gets hurt.
Then it's freaking hilarious.

To sell?

I have good headgaskets now. The rest of the car is falling apart but the headgaskets are good.

To the best of my knowledge, they haven't used the 3-mile configuration in years. I've never ran it myself, but I crewed for a friend once when they were running it. His opinion: Boring. It removes several tricky corners and passing zones.

If top speed is your thing, we should all go to the Texas Mile sometime.
