Hinge pin help?

Would any local texans be willing to help me out with my hinge pin rebuild? This project is really beyond what I feel comfortable with doing myself. The striker should be easy enough, just unscrew and screw new one in...I have cracked sheetmetal in the area of the striker..I drilled a hole above the crack to stop it from spreading any further.

Help welding it up would be great too, but just a hinge rebuild would be good enough....it is getting to be really bad now...I just don't want to go as far as to have a body shop do it for me.

Any takers? There's money in it for whoever can help

Would truly like to help you, but it's a 4 hour drive. Sorry there.

What if I drive to you? It's not a big deal...there might be some supercoupe seats I can pick up from another member in that area, so it would be worth the drive for me.

unless somebody closer is available.

I am breaking down and welding mine up soon as well. I think I am going to weld a thin sheet of steel over the cracked stuff too in order to ward off any future cracking. I am also going to pull the C pillar panel so I can get in there with a fire extinguisher if anything goes wrong, lol.
