Anyone looking for a bad @ss car?

My friend who works over at Lamborghini here in Houston, told me about a new car that came in earlier this week.
They got it for their grand opening(which was I think Tuesday this week).

Anyway, about the car.

It is a, 1967(more than likey a 64 or 65) Shelby Daytona w/ original 427 side oiler.
Everything is original.
Only 1 of 5 made.

asking price.....

a nice 1,000,000.00

The car is not even on the showroom floor.
Its hidden in the back.
Most people won't be allowed to see it.
If you want to see it, you might need to prove to them you got the money.

Some of you may care, some may not.
Just thought I would share.

Nick......................I'm back!!!
May you fly low and fast
rest in peace JL

"They won't let anyone look at it..." Maybe because the Daytonas were made from 1964 to 1965.... not 1967.

But you should beg to get some photos!!!

I can find any info about a 67, but the 64-65's plenty of them.

This is second hand info.
The guy could be wrong.

I also think $1M is WAY cheap!! The prices I found since I posted was unrestored = $4 million!!!

I think I would have to see it to believe it!!

Some info on the "missing" coupe!! WOW! I had read about this a while ago, but had totally forgotten about it.

Nick the other problem with the guys info is that the Daytona Coupe were all small block cars.

Yes, this is correct. I found out the real deal about the car. I was also told that the car is 100% original, but from looking at it up close, it's been restored. This might actually bring the price down.... It is a small block, but I'm still not sure if it's a 289 or what. The asking price is now down to $900K, so that ought to bring in some more people, dontcha think?

I've got about 6 or 7 pictures of the Daytona now, along with a one of a kind 911 style Ruf. The Ruf (pernounced roof) makes 725 hp out of a 3.8L flat six, f-ing amazing. I also snapped a few shots of the S7 TT (750hp) they have on site as well. Through out the next couple of weeks I'll get some more pics of the cars they have at Lamborghini of Houston.
