4R70W and 4.6L for sale.

I have the 4R out of my 97 as well as the 4.6L shortblock.

Trans had just begun the TQ shrudder before I started to part the car out. It has 103K.

Motor has 103K and blown headgaskets. Ran great until my girl drove it through a wall. Still ran great after that too until I parked it due to the headgaskets blowing.

I am asking best offer for each.

Never seen a ranger with a 4.6L, and since the 4R has a different bellhousing per motor its mated to... I dont think so.

Someone correct me if i'm wrong.

Rangers have been known to use the following transmissions:
Al4d or older 5r55/5r44/4r44
4r70w with a 5.0 swap. However mine wont fit on a 5.0. different bellhousing.

The 3.8 4R has the same bolt pattern as the 5.0

Everything is still for sale as the buyer for the motor bounced on me.

Does that mean he got a motor and the funds were no good, or the sale was a no go?
