Andrew Zimmerman Medical Benefit (My Nephew) - 5/5/2007

Dear Friends & Family,

As some of you know, our family has been putting together a benefit in
hopes of raising some money for medical bills and expenses for our Andrew.
We would like to personally invite all of you to come to the benefit, have
fun, eat good food, watch the kids play and most of all, help our family so
we can continue to make sure Andrew gets the surgeries and medical
treatments he needs.

Who is Andrew? He is one of our Grandchildren, he is our Cousin, he is our
Nephew but most of all, he is my sister’s One & Only – her 9 yr old Son.
Andrew was diagnosed with an Intracranial Arachnoid Cyst in October 2006,
when a fall at school sent him to the emergency room for a cat scan to
check for concussions, and BAM - there it was. The day that changed his
little life forever!! Since then he has had 4 brain surgeries and many
long stays at Herman Memorial Children’s Hospital here in Houston, Texas.
He is an amazing boy with a great spirit and a constant upbeat attitude.
And I just have to mention here, that he is ALWAYS excited about the Mohawk
he gets to wear because of his surgeries! He’s an awesome kid!

Benefit Info:

When – Saturday, May 5, 2007 from 12:00pm to 4:00pm
Where - Ugly’s Sports Bar & Grill, 24714 I-45 North, Spring, TX 77386

BBQ & all the fixin’s – just $7.00 a plate

Moonwalk ~ Batting Cage ~ Rock Climbing Wall

Live Music ~ Raffle Drawings

Donations can be made payable to: Andrew Zimmerman Medical Fund c/o Sarah
Hall, 2439 Colonial Springs Lane, Spring, Texas 77386.

Attached is a copy of our flyer, so please print it out, paste it up, hand
it out, pass it along!!

Please do whatever you can to help us make this day a success!

Hope to see you there!

Hey yall, this is for real, and for my nephew.
I can send anyone an e-mail of this with a flyer.

I would love to see yall there!!

Chris, can you make this a sticky?

Nick......................I'm back!!!
May you fly low and fast
rest in peace JL

exactly.....and I will have the 73 there.

One of the raffles is for a custom paint job on a bike....I asked the guy what if we wanted a custom hood done on a car, rather than a bike....he said no problem.

Use any one of those emails. Who do I need to talk to about giving a prize for the raffle? I might be able to get my company to donate a gift certificate. I will ask the owner tomorrow if we can. I would think atleast $150 certificate.

I will try to call this weekend. If you happen to talk to someone about it I need atleast some type of form or a hand written letter saying why we are donating a full detail for the raffle. The owner said he has to have a record for the accountant. If you dont get a chance thats cool I will call this weekend.

Nick, I talked to the director here at the museum, and he is willing to donate 12 Supercombo tickets for the museum to give out in the raffle. These tickets give the winners a chance to do everything in the museum for free. The value is close to $150. I hope this can help out in anyway.

agree'd..

You might consider making a list of people in this thread, and send out a "reminder PM" a couple of days before the event.

It is the San Jacinto Museum of History.....this is the place where Texas won it's independence from Mexico. We have a special exhibit going on right now until the end of March next year. It is on Cartography, the making of maps. We have maps dating back to when Spain had control of Mexico and the Southern part of North America, all the way to maps of today...which include satellite images of Texas and the Houston area.
