I realize you're on a budget, but if you want the car to work on a road course, get some Konis in there. Stiffer shock valving makes a big difference on these cars. And being able to adjust the front and rear settings separately is great for tuning the front-to-rear balance of the car.

On my SC, I'll go with the full hard setting on all four shocks for high-speed courses like Mosport and Watkins Glen. For the slower-to-medium-speed tracks with tighter corners like Shannonville I go with about 1/2 to 3/4 of a turn from full hard on the front shocks, and full hard on the rear shocks. These shocks are sensitive enough that 1/4 of a turn makes a difference.

I have a PI intake with plastic crossover I'm not going to use. Sell it cheap plus shipping unless you want to wait for the next mini-meet.

nick, my manager still hasnt posted my schedule for next week, so we can try to wing it on when you can pick up the block and ****. JamesD has a set of NPIs that were and should still be complete, I know of the engine they came off of...as it used to be in my car . I did have alot of the stuff you need, but ended up chunking it as no one wanted anything.

Cheap like 25 bucks. Enough to put gas in the car for the ride home from the meet.

Oh and I also have a 94 4.6l stock lower intake you can have with it if you want to cut that up too.

Joe how many miles you think are on those NPI heads? My only concern is guide and seat wear, if either is too high then the valves get sunk too deep into the pocket once everything is done and the flow drops like stone. I know the Ford heads usually come with the guides on the loose side of tolerances when new. I might have to look at new guides anyway.

Tell me about chucking stuff like this, thats why I made this post, usually this is the stuff people don't want. From what I am learning, this NPI, MarkVIII piston combo can be made to run good N/A on pump gas.
165k were on the heads. I had a wee bit of oil blow by from the rings, they are the F5AE casting 96/97 heads.

Pros: Good on gas, faster than the merk at the moment
Cons: Multicolor paint.

Pros: Comfortable, better stereo.
Cons: Sucks gas, slow (Till I get that motor in )
