Car shows in Southern MD

There are several shows coming up down this way, if anyone is interested in more information, let me know.

There is one general show at the high school in Prince Frederick on the 16th of April

The southern MD street rods are having their spring show soon, it is mostly older street rods, but there are some newer cars creeping in as well, just nothing stock.

I will post more as I see them.

well, well, well, look who decided to come out of hibernation.

We all thought you left us and were about to find another chapter director. Glad to see you are still with us. Iwould be interested in entering a car show if there were some of us there.

Hey, I have been doing o.k. I guess, thanks. My wife is having health problems which is tying up both time and money at the moment, but hopefully we can find resolve. I see by your signature you have another toy, I bet that is a lot of fun. Maybe you can bring it to one of the Thursday night car shows?

If we can get it on the road, it will be there, it is sitting in my bros garage right now waiting on a new clutch and tranny. As far as my car goes, I plan on having the body kit by the end of May, still have not got her painted yet, and with the damage she got this weekend going into the ditch, at least two of my wheels are chewed up. Don't you love it when people cut you off and don't stop when they see you lose it and go into a ditch.
Let me know when the thursday car shows start up again, my parents moved from Dunkirk to Cove point, so I don't drive by every Thursday anymore, but i can't wait to get back to the show.
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your wife, if there is anything that you need, let me know.

Hey Scott, since the Arby's burned up, are they going to still have the car shows there?
the building is still there, but it is all boarded up.
If you hear anything on it could you let me know?
Thanks

I have not heard from my friend the Vette guy that set that meet up. As soon as I see him or his wife I will see where they are going to try to meet. With the weather this spring, I don't think many people have been thinking about it, but it was a nice break to the week. Saturdays the street rod guys meet in the far end of the Safeway lot, but I am not sure of the rules other than your car MUST be modified.

No, this was a general street rod type of gathering, picture about 1/10 of Manassas.. I went out tonight to see if I could figure out where they are going, and found a few of that group at the Arby's in Prince Frederick, actually on the road above the Arbys, but there were only 5 of them at that time. I will keep my eyes out for more info. Are they still doing Manassas? That was always a good gathering.

I've only been driving for a couple weeks now that I'm off my meds. The SC is till sitting in the driveway, headless, for the next couple days. Hope to have it back together Monday or Tuesday. Haven't driven the SC since I quit driving when I went off the meds. I can't wait. I think Manassas is still the place to be on Saturday Nights. I'll problay take a trip out that way after we get back from the all Ford Nationals next weekend.

The car never blew up, just decied that since I couldn't drive it I would do some "upgrades". Maybe if I see you at MIR I'll let you take it for a spin down the 'ol 1320. I'm hoping when I'm done the car will be capable of running 12's.
