Question Hot enough?

Summer's definitely here! How's everyone holding up with heat? A/C working ok?

I'm on vacation this week and I've been working on a block wall in front of my house. It's nice to take a couple of hour breaks here and there to cool down!

Joe

It's not a 97 Sport, it just looks like one!

both my sable and caprice have a/c. the a/c in the caprice works really good. shocking for an 89! then i have 2 window units in the house. man its nice! it just really sucks at work. it was 97 today. it was awful!

If your exhaust tip is larger than your cylinder bore, then you are a Ricer.

I'm watchin the radar... http://www.thebostonchannel.com/vide...371/index.html

I love WCVB's streaming doppler radar. when it's live, it's real time. It's a direct feed off of their weather pc's in the studio, so you can actually see them get ready for the evening news sometimes

One of the only things good about living in military housing is the central heat and air. We left our ac on for the whole day last weekend, when we got home it was 63 degress in the house.

My cousins live in Alabama, they put tin foil on the windows that face the morning sun. He said it keeps the house 15 degrees cooler in the summer...

I use weather.com a lot. Put in your zip code then if you scroll to the bottom of the page it brings up there's a link to an interactive map. Check it outhttp://www.weather.com/weather/map/i...MapLayer=radar

yeah, i use that also when i'm trying to dodge storms. there just isn't a one stop solution unfortunatly. I use wcvb, intellicast and weather.com's radar. on occasion, i'll use NWS's, but the delay makes it kind of useless

It just started raining here. A few rumbles, it's coming!

John,

That Doppler is pretty cool. Looks like it will get nasty here in a bit!

The rain around 6:15 last night on 495 was insane. I could hardly see 20 feet, there was inches of rain on the street. This lasted for about 15-20 minutes too! Traffic was going about 10 mph. Crazy ass storm!

All the storms that were forcasted here went around us. The only thing we got were some nice lightning shows we really need the rain.

We haven't had more than a light drizzle that lasted 5 minutes, in over a month. Our grass is almost completely brown.
