Thumbs up Bye, bye Comcast!

We made the switch over to Verizon FiOS today and so far I'm really impressed! The picture quality with the TV is great and the internet flies!

I almost forgot to mention that I'm saving $70 bucks a month for the next 2 years!

And to think we got traded from the evil clutches of Adelphia to Comcast and thought we were doing a little better. One day we will actually have a provider available to us that cares about quality and customer service.

Jon,

Your math skills amaze me!

My Comcast bill with internet and cable was running around $130 and the Verizon phone plan I had in the $70 range, so it's definitely worth it to me!

Well lets see since I have 5 HDTV's and when I wanted DSL from Verizon it wasn't available but Media One beat them in with broadband and when Comcast bought them out Media One I had everything rolled into one package. It is a little expensive but not worth the hassel to change over. Plus Fios isn't in my area yet they said three to six months Verizon said the samething when DSL came out. I pay around $200 for HD Cable w/ premium channel pkg, Internet, and Telephone.

Sigh I just had to move from my Adelpia package to the Comcast package....

With Adelphia I paid 114.00 for 6 meg internet. Extended cable with HBO DVR and HD.

Since Comcast madethe NFL network a premium channel that I had to pay for my bill for the similar line up is 174.00 but I do have 8 meg internet now
