Anyone from North Carolina visiting Connecticut?

I went to the mall today and parked near a white T-Bird with North Carolina plates on it and a broken window covered with plastic.

1995 LX 4.6 Stock for now.

I doubt it's anybody from here. It't probably one of those cars from NY or NJ that's registered in NC in order to get the lower insurance rates that are available here. There is a real problem with that that's been going on.

Insurance Carpetbaggers aka insurance "rate evasion" . I'm not sure if it's as big a problem as it was. There's been a lot of work done to try to get a handle on the situation.

See these stories from June and November of 2007 for details.

I didn't know that, it is idiots like that which ruin it for everyone else. Now if I ever see a car with NC plates I will ask them how the weather in in NY. Of course I will look for the scuff marks on the bumbers before I ask just to be sure they defiantely are from NY.

The rear window on the drivers side was busted, it was a 96-97 and I believe it was a 6 cylinder.
