zMax Test & Tune Schedule 2011

The Test & tune Schedule for 2011 has been posted and there are a few dates coming up in March.

The Summer Drag & Brag series is starting on June 15.

The Drag & Brag Series is just a fancy way to say, run whatcha brung Test & Tune.

Other dates include:

June 22
June 29
July 6, 13 and 20

I'm going to try to make it on the 15th and/or the 22nd... after I recharge my battery, since the car's been basically sitting since November.

Anybody else interested?

They're also having the Drag & Brag series again this summer. More details will be forthcoming.

06/15 - 07/21/11

zMAX Dragway will host a Summer Drag & Brag Series on Wednesdays for six weeks from June to July. The series will feature grassroots drag racing.

I hope to see some of you there this year.

Mods? Yea, I got mods ...

Great to see you too. Glad you made it home safe. That was quite the downpour! I held up under the awning at the Shell station near the track while I aired the tires back up. By the time I was done filling the tires the storm had passed for the most part. By the time I got home my neighborhood was bone dry. The storm went right past the house!

Here are the details:

I suspect in addition to crappy weather my Meth-Injection wasn't working properly, hence the slower times. RobertP is going to check that out for me on Friday and I hope to get back to the track next Wed.
  • My car was # 87
  • The first run was against a 1971 GMC Pick up
  • The second run was against a Mustang
Density Altitudes:
  • First Run - 2899 Ft.
  • Second Run - 2555 Ft.

Sorry about your problems. Would have liked to have made it but I lose interest in this 100 degree weather. Can't wait for it to cool of some.
